    Course Highlights


    Lecture notes help explain the content of Operations Management. They also include opportunities for dialogue and discussion, some of which are marked by black slides in the presentations. Written assignments for this course are provided along with the spreadsheets needed to complete them.


    Course Description


    This course will introduce concepts and techniques for design, planning and control of manufacturing and service operations. The course provides basic definitions of operations management terms, tools and techniques for analyzing operations, and strategic context for making operational decisions. We present the material in five modules:
    1. Operations Analysis
    2. Coordination and Planning
    3. Quality Management
    4. Project Management
    5. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
