Vanderbilt University Lending iPads To Students

The libraries at Vanderbilt University are lending electronic tablets to students, faculty and staff.

Libraries dean Connie Vinita Dowell said a lot of students had been asking for tablets to be added to the list of circulated items.

In a news release, the university said it was now lending iPad2 tablets on a first-come basis for three days per checkout.

Vanderbilt Student Government President Maryclaire Manard said the organization worked with the libraries to prioritize making tablets....
