Princeton University raises more than $50 million in past year

Princeton University says its 2010-11 Annual Giving campaign has raised more than $50 million.

The university said Wednesday that the total is the second-highest in the history of the campaign.

It said more than 61 percent of undergraduate alumni participated

The campaign drew the largest number of alumni donors ever — more than 36,000.

Princeton's Class of 1986, celebrating its 25th reunion, contributed just over $9 million, the all-time record for any class.
