CSU trustees increase education doctorate program by $954

Students looking to get an education doctorate degree from a California State University school will have to start saving money.

The finance committee of the CSU board of trustees approved a 10 percent fee increase Tuesday for the Doctor of Education degree program beginning the 2011-12 academic year.

At that time, students will pay $10,500 per year, up $954. A doctorate of education is the only such doctoral degree offered at CSU campuses.
