ASU shaking up teacher training

Arizona State University is taking teacher education into the 21st century.

The process for creating K-12 teachers hasn't changed much since the days of blackboards and chalk.

ASU restructured last year to move students out of the theoretical realm and into the trenches. All undergraduate and graduate programs that lead to teacher certification, whatever the campus, were consolidated into the College of Teacher Education and Leadership.
