University of Minnesota sports arenas to host robot competition

Let the robot games begin at the University of Minnesota.

Thousands of high school students are expected to pack the university's Williams and Mariucci arenas for the Minnesota Regional FIRST Robotics Competitions Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.

More than 120 high school teams from Minnesota and surrounding states will compete. Teams build and program robots to perform tasks against a field of competitors.
