In his speech, he spoke of the need for the graduates to reach out and start their body of work, find their position in life and conquer any restrictions. He himself is going to find restrictions as he offers himself up for another commencement speech at Notre Dame this weekend.
There will be a group of people in the offings who will not appreciate having Obama speak at the Catholic, anti-abortion university. There has been much turbulence this past spring regarding Obama's giving of the commencement speech, so much so, that the Bishops of America got involved and letters were written back and forth chastising the Reverend Jenkins for having asked Obama to attend. It will be interesting to see how things turn out for President Obama at Notre Dame.
