Motion of a Charged Particle in Electric Field 2
The model illustrates the motion of charged particle in electric field. The particle has an initial velocity, you can vary it by changing the values of its x- and y-projections with floating band control. The trajectory of the charge depends on the initial speed, it?s direction and value of electric field. On the graph you can see the changing of the potential of the charge in the electric field during its motion. Run the simulation in case when y-component of the velocity is equal to zero. Investigate how value of the electric field influence on the trajectory of motion. Make sure that if the electric field is equal to zero there is no forces affecting the charge and it?s moving evenly and in straight line.
