This model illustrates the motion of a satellite in the Earth's gravity field.
A satellite moves around the Earth in an elliptical or an infinite orbit in accordance with Kepler's laws. Set the orbital parameters (initial velocity, initial distance, and direction of the satellite's initial velocity) by using the input windows. The satellite comes to a halt when it comes too close to the Earth.
The message window displays orbital time, rotation period, and the elapsed time since the initiation of the experiment. Press "Run" button to run the experiment. Press "Stop" to suspend it, and press "Reset" to return the model to its initial stage.
