Inverse functions

If a function x=g(y) is a solution of an equation y=f(x) relatively to the variable y then g(y) is called inverse function for f(x) and is defined as f-1. The graphs of these functions are symmetrical relatively to the line y=x.

In this model you can type a function in text field f(x) (blue graph) and obtain its inverse function (red graph) constructed for y from ymin to ymax.
