Theorem of Lagrange

The Lagrange theorem: if a function f(x) is a continuous function on a segment [a; b] and it is a differentiable function on an interval (a; b) then there exists at least the one point x0 from (a; b) where f(b)- f(a) = f `(x0)∙(b-a).
