The Alverno College library promotes, supports, and enhances the instruction, curriculum and learning processes within the College. By creating a user-friendly environment for our patrons and providing information services according to the highest standards, we play a major role in the Alverno College community of learners. Our resources and reference assistance are also available onsite to the public. To checkout materials or access our electronic databases off site, a library card is necessary.
The Library is located on the second floor of the Liberal Arts Building (LA) north wing. The library’s hours, collections, and patron services can be viewed on their Web site.
The Alverno College Library is a member of SWITCH, an eight-member library consortium to share books, videos, journal articles, etc.: Alverno College, Cardinal Stritch University, Concordia University Wisconsin, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Mount Mary College, Sacred Heart School of Theology, Wisconsin Lutheran College, and St. Francis Seminary.
