Student Housing: Theme Housing
Adrian College offers several themed houses for upperclass students.
Housing applications due Friday, February 27th
Requirements
Full time students and classified as a sophomore, junior or senior as of Fall 2009.
Be one of the following themes:
Academic theme – working in conjunction with an academic department or faculty
member.
Service project theme – committing to an on-going project that enhances the Adrian College
and/or Adrian communities.
Other – developing a project around an area of shared interes
Number of housemates in the house:

1320 Michigan Ave. Accommodates 8 students
1328 Michigan Ave. Accommodates 7 students
1334 Michigan Ave. Accommodates 7 students
1380 Michigan Ave. Accommodates 10 students
106 N. Charles St. Accommodates 8 students
160 S. Charles St. Accommodates 8 students
147 Madison Accommodates 6 students
Two alternate housemates are required to be considered.
Selection Process
1. A review committee will evaluate your proposal and supporting materials.
2. The committee may interview students and advisors on March 10, 2009.
3. Houses will be considered in the following theme order: Academic, Service, Other.
4. Theme Housing approvals will be emailed to the House Manager on March 11, 2009.
5. Theme Houses will then be confirmed based on occupancy and available housing.
Room Selection
Approved groups will receive floor plans to pick rooms from the Housing Office, 223 Caine, on March 11, 2009. The floor plan will need to be completed and returned to the Housing Office no later than March 17, 2009. Every resident of the Theme House must pay their $100 advance housing payment by March 16, 2009 in the Cashier’s Office and submit their Room and Board Agreement to the Housing Office by March 17, 2009.
