Adrian College has a wide range of technology resources and support available. Students can enjoy the convenience of having a wired ethernet internet connection and wireless connectivity in each and every dorm room, and six computer labs on campus, including a 24-hour computer lab. The Information Services department is committed to making appropriate technology resources available.
Adrian College invested in a fiber optic network that runs to every building on campus. The College currently has high-speed Internet access through a Fractional T3 line installed in Spring 2007 (30Mbps).
Windows XP based computers with Office 2007 are the campus standard, although Apple computers are used for specific applications. All students, faculty, and staff members are provided network accounts that allow them access to E-mail, file, and web page storage. This account information is sent along with other materials during the summer before Fall Term. We currently offer each student 1GB of Network space, and G-mail offers 7GB + of E-mail storage
