The Center for Academic Transition Programs and Assessment Services
The Center for Academic Transition Programs and Assessment Services is comprised of three elements: the Center for Testing, Division Research for Student Affairs, and the Gateway Program. By completing the testing process at the Center for Testing, students who are undecided about a major or want to identify their strengths can receive valuable information about themselves. With tests specifically selected for each student’s needs, the results match primary career interests, abilities, and personality styles. Division Research compiles data and composes reports about the diverse spectrum of factors that can affect students’ academic and personal development, as well as their ultimate goals. The Gateway program assists academically under-prepared students with their transition from high school to college.
