The residence life program at Beloit College supports students in their learning endeavors and provides a comfortable, clean, safe and educational living-learning environment. Each student’s unique talents, values, and interests are valued and welcome additions to the Beloit residence community.
Residence hall living provides opportunities to develop new friendships and skills, and to learn about new ideas, beliefs and cultures within a caring community atmosphere. Living on campus also provides unique opportunities for interpersonal learning and growth as students live, study and play with the rest of the campus community. The residential “living education†is a key part of the residential liberal arts education.
Living on a residential campus can be a very exciting part of the college experience. Students who choose to participate fully in the living community can expect to challenge their beliefs, reaffirm or change values, and become comfortable living in a dynamic close-knit community.
