  The Charles E. Culpeper Language Resource Center (LARC) provides a multimedia environment of hardware, software, and learning resources that aim to facilitate and promote the study of languages and their cultures.

  
  

  At present, materials are available for study of the following languages:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish

  
  

  Services to Students

  Student consultants are available during normal operating hours to assist with the software and equipment. Services to students include:

  • Special assistance with the online components of the textbooks Quia, MhCentro and MySpanishLab (Italian, French and Spanish)
  • Movie viewing (on-site)
  • Foreign language fonts and special characters
  • Course reserves
  • Foreign language software
  • Computer stations
  • Foreign language television
  • Wireless connection
