There are nine libraries at Dartmouth with holdings to support research in a wide variety of subjects. Within most Dartmouth libraries, visitors are welcome to browse the open book stacks; to use electronic journals and books; newspapers and periodicals; music CDs; DVDs and videos; microforms; maps; and government documents. The Library's online catalog is freely available, and some digital resources are available for your use, but others are restricted to the Dartmouth Community only. Anyone may borrow materials after registering to become a guest borrower .
Ask our librarians and staff for assistance at any time. Help can be obtained at one of our service desks and also electronically via email.
Whether you're visiting the Library's vast resources for study or research, attending an exhibition or event, or just simply enjoying the atmosphere, the Dartmouth College Library offers a rich and rewarding experience.
