The library also provides access to a variety of online databases through Avila's computer network. Available online from the library website are databases such as EBSCO, LEXIS-NEXIS, GALE BUSINESS, CONTEMPORARY WOMEN'S ISSUES, CINAHL, and PROQUEST PSYCHOLOGY. These databases and more are available in the library and from the Avila Proxy Server, which provides off-campus database access to Avila students and faculty.
In addition to books and databases, the library computer network provides students access to the Internet through the Local Area Network. The library lab contains twenty-five computers that are available for Internet access, word processing, e-mail, and curriculum-based software applications. The library incorporates a color copier into this network for students or faculty that need to print color copies of documents.Reviews Not Available |
