Groundbreaking For Palestine Campus Draws Crowd

PALESTINE -- As a newly divorced single mom with no marketable job skills, Tammy Corson fell in love with nursing. She's amazed she obtained an education in nursing in this small town on par or exceeding what she would have gotten in a metropolitan area.

Ms. Corson recalled her experiences for the crowd of about 150 on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for the first building on The University of Texas at Tyler's new Palestine campus.
