Furry Friends Found Out on Washington College Campus

Though the Washington College website states that no pet of any kind is allowed on campus, many have kept pets on campus, and though the number has gone down, some continue to do so.

A Public Safety officer joked last year, “Anything that you can hold under water for 60 seconds without killing it is ok ay to have on campus.”

Sophomore Kris Kelley abides by this rule and currently houses eight fish in a small tank in her Sassafras suite.
