Rice University Sociology Professor to be Next Gordon College President

A Rice University sociology professor has been named the eighth president of Gordon College in Wenham, the college announced on Monday morning.

D. Michael Lindsay, 39, was chosen after a seven month long international search.

He will take over on July 1 for retiring President Judson Carlberg, who was at the college for 35 years – 19 as president.
