Faculty deliver 'no confidence' vote against leadership of Northeastern Illinois Univ president

A faculty group at Northeastern Illinois University delivered a vote of “no confidence” in the leadership of Sharon Hahs, president, and Lawrence Frank, provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Among faculty complaints were that their participation in governance is not considered and that the administration retaliates whenever faculty members challenge its positions and policies, said Judith Kaplan Weinger, chair of the Faculty Senate that gave the pair the thumbs down Tuesday.
