Purdue professor, wife, friend bring Arctic stories to the Web

Paul Shepson has been traveling to the Arctic since 1988.

The Purdue University professor's research spans the fields of atmospheric chemistry and climate change. He focuses on tropospheric ozone and on atmosphere-surface chemical interactions in both forest environments and the Arctic.
"I am just a humble atmosphere chemist -- we study the composition of the atmosphere," said Shepson, who is also head of the chemistry department. "(We study) how it got to be the way it is and how it may be changing....
