OU, OSU get "B" for general education courses

The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University each received a grade of "B" for requiring students to take a variety of general education courses.

The American Council of Trustees and Alumni report - "What Will They Learn" - says OU and OSU each require students to take five of seven core subject areas.

Both require general education courses in composition, science, foreign language, mathematics and American history or government. Neither OU or OSU require core courses in economics....
