Job Summary
Direct and maintain outstanding choral ensembles, teach and oversee the choral music education track, teach two sections of ear training, and perform other duties as needed by the department. Work effectively with both the vocal studio and the music education faculty. Provide academic advising to students in the choral music education program.

Required Qualifications
Proven success and leadership through organizational, motivational, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate well to a diverse group of students and faculty at the university and high school levels is essential.
A commitment to outreach and student recruitment, as well as versatility to help meet needs within the department based on an applicant’s strengths, are also expected.
Collegiate choral conducting experience and demonstrated success as an experienced educator in the public school environment are preferred.
Degree in a related field of study,
