Job Description:
The CRM Front End Developer will work across functional units within the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Slate CRM operations. They will provide front-end development support, including forms, portals, communications, queries, reports, and dashboards, for new and existing Slate CRM implementations. They will serve as a key member of the Core Slate CRM Team and deliver solutions and high-level support to Slate CRM end-users and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with functional units across the division and the Slate CRM guiding coalition to develop front-end solutions such as forms, surveys, communications, queries, reports, and portals.
Coordinate with faculty and staff to design front-end solutions for prospective and accepted student events.
Build and maintain custom Slate portals for various end users.
Develop front-end designs and processes for new and existing CRM implementations.
Monitor and respond to ServiceNow incidents and support tickets involving the Slate CRM platform.
Create, implement, and maintain transactional communications, portal enhancements, and other front-end integrations for CRM-based undergraduate onboarding and orientation functionalities.
Build reports, queries, and dashboards to share data with recruitment staff.
Provide Slate CRM support and training for end-users as directed.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
At least one year of experience using Slate CRM or a similar CRM system.
REQUIREMENTS:
NOTE: Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
Six (6) years of professional experience in one or more combination of the following: data processing, installation and maintenance of application programs, technical support, and/or design and preparation of programs.
OR
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
OR
Possession of a master's degree; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience.
NOTE: "Professional experience" refers to work that is creative, analytical, evaluative, and interpretive; requires a range and depth of specialized knowledge of the profession's principles, concepts, theories, and practices; and is performed with the authority to act according to one's own judgment and make accurate and informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education
Ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively regarding the enrollment management process
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Experience with system implementation from a functional level
