Retailing Ph.D. Program
The doctoral program in Retailing, prepares students to become active scholars, teachers, and leaders in the retailing and other consumer industries. The retail industry includes service providers such as banks, hotels, supermarkets, electronic commerce and mass customization, as well as traditional retailers. An important link in this industry is the intersection between a service provider and the client/consumer. The interdisciplinary nature of the program means that students from programs across the university could participate in this PhD, collaborating on the admission process for students and serving as major professors. The Retailing doctoral program requires students to develop a program of scholarship. This scholarship is developed throughout the doctoral program as evidenced by publications and presentations.
Ph.D. Program in Media & Information Studies
This unique program is a collaboration of three departments: 1) Department of Advertising, Public Relations, and Retailing, 2) School of Journalism and 3) Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media.
