- Intensive and challenging experience of laboratory-based instruction.
- Two weeks of full-day, hands-on learning.
- Taught by master's teachers who have worked closely with scientists at Michigan State University to develop the courses.
- Opportunity to become an investigator.
- An effective way to increase your basic science knowledge and skills, so that you can help your students learn the science required by the State of Michigan.
- Cornerstone of a graduate program, the MAT in General Science, offered in collaboration with MSU's College of Education.
- A means of sharing information with other teachers of elementary school science.
